Chair of Statistics and Econometrics

Within economics, the importance of statistical and econometric methods in research, teaching and business practice is steadily increasing. This is due to a combination of factors such as the rapidly growing availability of data, enormous progress in the development of models and methods and the unchecked increase in the performance of hardware and software.

Against this background, the chair tries to be a competent contact for the quantitative-methodological questions of all students and faculty members, both in teaching and research.
